Why do children have to destroy stuff?

Published by rdbfeb at 1:37 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

My almost 3 year old got a nice Thomas the train set for Christmas from my sister-in-law. The box said you can get it put together in 30 minutes. It took me 3 hours on News Years day to get it together. I did it whild he and the 4 year old were napping. My 5 year old was a big help in getting all the pieces in the correct space.  Once the napping two were up and ready to run the trains on the track things went down hill. The track stayed together about 30 minutes. This set has a section that looks like a train station. This is the part that took the longest to get snapped together. The 4 year old decided to take it apart yesterday.  I have no clue why, but she just enj0ys destroying anything she can. She has destroyed a toy telephone(broke it into) and other items.  She’s not being mean, she just likes destroying items. You have to watch her like a hawk or you never know what will be next! There is never a dull moment at this house.
